Congratulations to Emily Ko ('11) who auditioned and qualified for the All Virginia Orchestra on violin February 28th at James Madison University. Emily placed 21st among a field of the state's top 121 violinists.

Congratulations to Steven Gizzi ('11) who won second place in the Lions of Virginia Bland Music Scholarship district competition, held on Sunday, March 1, in Chester, Virginia. Steven played "Three Piano Preludes", by George Gershwin, and competed against other pianists, cellists, violinists, and guitarists.
