Two Maggie Walker seniors made a strong showing in the creative portion of the Scholastic Awards earlier this month. Kasia Clarke took an honorable mention in the area of creative non-fiction, and Natalie Zhao achieved Gold Key Award level with her Senior General Writing Portfolio.
Both students were honored at an awards ceremony in late February, and Natalie is awaiting word of her portfolio in the national judging. Congratulations to both seniors!
