Field House Project Progress Report

In February, the Regional School Board approved the PTSA's request for a feasibility study for the construction of a field house that would include bathrooms, concessions, ticket booth, and first aid treatment area. PTSA President Belle Bronner assembled a committee of talented current and alumni parents to lead this project. The project chair is Sandy Whitehead.

A field house was originally planned as part of the Maggie Walker renovation but never constructed because of insufficient funding. The PTSA and Athletic Boosters have committed funds for the feasibility study.

The Governor's School Foundation is collecting donations honoring Mr. Hunt that, at his request, will be directed to this project.
