International Thespian Society Inductions

from Smoke & Scales:

On February 20, 2009, following the One-Act Play performances at MLWGS, the following students were inducted into the International Thespian Society:

  • Ned Crawford ('09)
  • Daisha Stone ('10)
  • Dylan Adams ('09)

They were inducted by co-presidents Thomas Howard (’09) and Matthew Gizzi (’09). Ned, Daisha and Dylan join 25 other current and former MLWGS students who were previously honored with membership.

The purpose of the International Thespian Society is the advancement of excellence in educational theater and the continuing enrichment of theater arts and their appreciation worldwide. To become a candidate and eligible for membership, a student of drama must earn 30 points through service to the Drama Department. Students are encouraged to earn points in more than one area of production or performance. Each point represents ten hours of quality work; therefore, each candidate has given over 300 hours of service to the Drama Department.
